How do I choose the right guitar?

Choosing the right guitar for you is simply what do you think sounds the best  when you play it. It also depends on the style of music you want to play. Do you want to play acoustic style,do you want to rock out with riffs and so on. Theres thousands of guitars out there for you to try out. Theres low end acoustics to high end and I'm not saying go pick the most expensive one because lets be honest,i've played $100 dollar guitars that sounded like they were $1,000 so pick em up and try em out. Theres also different sizes from dreadnought to grand concert and jumbo so see what feels the best to you.

 

How often should I change Strings?

That depends on how often you play. When the strings start to sound dead or dampened and the string break for no apparent reason then thats when they should obviously be changed. You can tell when they lose there tone and they will go out of tune more than usual. When you install new strings give them a week to strech and break in.
